Cwmwyddus & Leader Training Field

Cwmwyddus Cabin 30ft x 20ft (8.8m x 6.1m) is part brick and stone built with timber walls and pitched metal corrugated roof, it has a small patio area in front with a path to the adjacent Leader Training field. The kitchen has a small service hatch to main hall; which has a large open brick fire grate and chimney.

The building has one external single outward opening door, which opens onto the main room; there are no windows in the building.

A single door from the main hall accesses the kitchen. The kitchen has a service hatch under which are cupboards; a stainless steel food preparation table; an electric fridge/freezer. There is a double sink unit with cupboards under, two LPG cookers, water urn and sink.

The building has mains electricity and water supply, tables and chairs are provided. Users should bring their own catering equipment. There is an external water tap for use by campers when building is not used.

Fire extinguishers and fire blankets are provided fire assembly area is on adjacent field well away from building and tents.

A separate toilet block exists close by.

The Leader Training Field is approximately 150ft x 100ft and is accessed from a small path leading from this building.

Surrounding the field is a ditch with a number of access points into the surrounding woodland area. There are also small areas in the woodland surrounding the field, which are used for campfires. No fires are to be lit on the Field.

The Leader Training field may be booked without the use of Cwmwyddus Cabin if required.
